The youth at the CJP protest are demanding the resignation of the union education minister, Dharmendra Pradhan, over the alleged irregularities in the NEET examination. Amid this, Sonam Wangchuk, who went on a hunger strike, was removed from Delhi’s protest site and was taken to the hospital. Days after that, a video of him showed ending his 26-day hunger strike while being surrounded by his family, union ministers and more. The activist reportedly expressed his gratitude for ending the hunger strike. He then appealed to the protestors to maintain peace. The activist stated that he didn’t approve of any kind of violence and that allowing any anti-social elements to take advantage of this was not acceptable to him.
