Air India Peeing Incidents: DCW Chief Says Banning Not Enough, Arrest Men
She's right. These men should be arrested.
We have heard cases where men have gotten drunk and created a ruckus on aeroplanes, and they have gotten banned for a considerably long period of time as well. But recent incidents that have taken place in Air India flights show that men have taken it a step ahead to make the lives of the cabin crew and passengers hell! There have been two consecutive incidents where men have drunkenly peed on their fellow female passengers. How disgusting is that! Jab sambhalti nahi toh itni kyon peete hai? Calling for action on these stupid men, the Delhi Commission For Women Chief, Swati Maliwal, has issued a strong-worded notice to Delhi Police, Air India and the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) on January 6, 2023.
As per reports, Swati Maliwal has written a notice wherein she has expressed her shock about why these men who have urinated on the women have not been arrested yet. She also said that banning such men is not enough, and has gone on to issue notices to the aforementioned authorities. Maliwal also went ahead to label these acts as shameful, extremely disturbing and serious. The DCW Chief has also expected to be provided with relevant information on these matters by January 10.

The first incident of this sort came to light on November 26, 2022, on a New York to Delhi flight. The drunk man in this case peed on an elderly lady, soaking her belongings in piss. While she was given a new set of clothes and slippers to wear, the lady alleges that the man was allowed to walk off as if nothing happened.
The second incident took place on December 6, 2022, on the Paris-Delhi flight when a drunk man peed on the blanket of his fellow female passenger. In this case, as well, no action was taken against him and the man only was asked to issue a written apology to the woman.

These incidents only prove that these men do not care about the consequences and know they will get away with it. I am sure that had these men peed on other men, there would have been a big brawl mid-air. Since women have always been taken lightly, no strict action was taken against these men either.
