The Delhi Commission For Women Chief, Swati Maliwal, recently took to Twitter to share some rather vulgar and lewd comments made by trolls against crickets Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Virat Kohli’s young daughters. Pointing out that it is extremely shocking and messed up that people use such awful terminology for two little girls who are just 2 and 7 years old, the DCW chief demanded police action against the social media handles. And now, Swati Maliwal again took to Twitter to share screenshots of vulgar comments on cricketer Rohit Sharma and his wife and daughter.
Swati Maliwal pointed out the fact that much like Virat Kohli and Dhoni’s daughters, people are also commenting about Rohit Sharma’s kids and his wife. Slamming trolls for the obscene comments, she looped in Delhi and Mumbai Police and questioned them about the same.
@Delhipolice @MumbaiPolice pic.twitter.com/dZHKz5BD9A

TBH, we see a pattern here and it doesn’t seem to be going away. Trolls just cannot help but attack cricketers and the women in their lives, no matter the age.

Earlier on Thursday, the DCW Chief had pointed out that abusing a sports player’s family and children just because you don’t like the way they are performing makes absolutely no sense. She also questioned what gives people the right to abuse the young daughters of cricket players like MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli. She went on to demand that the police take much-needed action by filing an FIR against the people who are behind these troll accounts.
pic.twitter.com/9ybadS659r

DCW’s Swati Maliwal also issued a notice to Delhi police over the comments on Dhoni and Kohli’s daughters. We can sincerely hope that the required measures are taken by the police department to get these people under control.

Netizens have also come out to support the DCW chief and hail her for the move. Twitter users are speaking up against the trolls and the disgusting and demeaning comments made against the wives and daughters of the crickets.
