DCW Chief Shares Screenshots Of Lewd Comments On Dhoni, Kohli’s Daughters, Demands FIRs
These people are disgusting!
Every time an artist’s performance is not liked by people, they are on the receiving end of so much hate that it is shocking. This is equally applicable to sportspersons as well. Given how cricket is followed like a religion in our country, it is understandable that fans have high expectations from them in every match. But calling vile names to their wives and daughters when they did perform up to the mark is just disgusting. That is exactly what MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli’s young daughters, Ziva Dhoni and Vamika Kohli, are being subjected to. The Delhi Commission For Women Chief, Swati Maliwal, took to Twitter to slam accounts that were using vulgar language while talking about Dhoni and Kohli’s daughters.

Swati Maliwal shared the screenshots of the disgusting comments written by two “fan accounts” of Dhoni and Kohli who had used lewd language while talking about their daughters. Maliwal wrote in the tweet that there are some accounts on Twitter that are using crass language while talking about the country’s two big cricket players’ daughters. She expressed her shock at how two and seven-year-old girls are being spoken about.

She also wrote that if one does not like a particular player that does not give them the right to abuse their daughters. Concluding her tweet, Swati Maliwal wrote that she is asking the police to file an FIR against these accounts.

Expressing dissent or contrary opinions peacefully and without insulting anyone is a habit people are slowly losing. Insulting one’s daughters, wives, mothers and sisters at every little disagreement has become the way to go these days.
