BJP Leader Khushbu Sundar Appointed As The Member Of National Commission For Women

The woman who is given the responsibility to become the voice of all other women in a nation is a job that comes with a lot of expectations. The National Commission For Women (NCW), the department that’s responsible for fighting women’s issues in the country has been joined by a new member, Khushbu Sundar. A day after the news of her nomination came in, the actress-turned-politician confirmed her place in the organisation.

On February 28, Tuesday, Khushbu Sundar who is a BJP leader interacted with the media and announced that she has taken up the responsibilities as a member of the National Commission For Women (NCW). As per the news, the BJP leader expressed her happiness about taking this respected position and also thanked her party and the commission for believing in her abilities and considering her worthy of this job. She also thanked the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi. Khusbu Sundar also said that she has always talked about women’s issues fearlessly and after getting such an important platform, she can reach out to more women.

Before entering the world of politics, Khushbu Sundar had a career in films and she did a decent number of them. She had started as a child actor and as her career progresses, she explores films of all languages like Hindi, Telugu and Tamil. Initially, Khushbu Sundar was a part of the Indian National Congress but then went on to join the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) in 2020. She has taken a new step now in her political career.
