Chargesheet Filed Against Ashok Kharat
SIT has finally filed a chargesheet against the r*pe accused Ashok Kharat. The police have shared some details of the chargesheet. As per a TOI report, the police are currently investigating 9 cases on Kharat, and 8 of them are s*xual harassment cases against women. The remaining case is of cheating. As per the latest reports on the matter, the SIT has filed a chargesheet based on two s*xual harassment cases against the self-styled godman, and the chargesheet on the remaining cases will be filed over the span of the next three days. Reportedly, the SIT is also putting efforts to get Ashok Kharat’s case on a fast track. The two chargesheets are of 750 and 400 pages respectively.
When Was Ashok Kharat Arrested?
Ashok Kharat was taken into custody on March 17 in an alleged r*pe case. What followed was horrifying. Many women came forward to make some serious allegations against Kharat. The reports suggested that the self-styled godman manipulated women under the pretext of helping them. Later, many cheating allegations were also made against him.
Several disturbing Ashok Kharat videos also surfaced on the internet, which also affected the victims mentally. The SIT and cybercrime department assured that they would prevent further leaks of such videos.
