The case involving self-styled Godman and astrolger Ashok Kharat is getting more twisted each day. The accused is being investigated on multiple fronts, including harassment, exploitation, manipulation, cheating and fraud. He was arrested in Nashik in a r*pe case, and now his custody has been extended in a 7th s*xual harassment case. Ashok Kharat’s Custody Extended In 7th Harassment Case

The shocking case of the self-styled godman Ashok Kharat has become quite disturbing. In the latest updates on the matter, a court in Nashik has sent the accused in police custody for three more days till April 29 after the 7th s*xual harassment complaint was registered against him, as per a PTI report. Furthermore, the police have shared some details about the complaint, according to which a married woman was exploited by Kharat. She had approached him with some family-related issues. Kharat allegedly gave her some intoxicants, and then s*xually assaulted her while the woman’s husband waited outside his office. He had also threatened to kill her if she spoke about the incident to anyone or revealed it to the police.

For the unversed, a Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been investigating several harassment and fraud cases against Ashok Kharat. A recent case of alleged cheating was filed against Kharat by a Chartered Accountant. The SIT also investigated several Ashok Kharat videos that floated on social media and assured the victims of stopping further leaks.
