Ashok Kharat Case: New Cheating Complaint Filed Against Self-Styled Godman. All We Know

The astrologer and self-styled Godman Ashok Kharat, arrested in multiple assault cases and under investigation over cheating and fraud charges, now has a new FIR against him. The accused is currently in police custody, which was recently extended by the court in the fifth r*pe case. Now, he has been accused of cheating his Chartered Accountant in Mumbai. Ashok Kharat Accused In New Cheating Case:

The self-styled godman has been accused in many cases already, and the list is not stopping. As per the latest updates on the matter, the police have registered a new cheating case against the astrologer. Going by the Telangana Today report, a Chartered Accountant in Mumbai has filed a case against Kharat for alleged cheating of Rs 8.76 crore during 2018-23. The case was registered at the Sarkarwada police station on Friday night.

More About The Complainant

As per the news reports, the complainant knew Ashok Kharat well and was also his confidant. He had also served as the trustee of his Shivanika Trust, which was responsible for taking care of all the matters of a temple in Sinnar taluka. In his complaint, he has alleged that Ashok Kharat has told him that his parents were going to die and that he needed to specifically perform some rituals to avoid the mishap.

S*xual Assault Cases

Ashok Kharat was arrested in Nashik for allegedly r*ping a 35-year-old for years. It was followed by more r*pe and harassment cases. Many videos of Ashok Kharat also surfaced on social media, and the cyber cell took strict action against them. Reports also suggested that the victims were deeply affected by the online harassment, and the police assured them of preventing further damage.
