The rising crimes against women in India are a concern that needs to be addressed urgently. While we are just talking about it, another woman has been r*ped in some part of the country. A shocking crime of assault has now made headlines from Ahmedabad. A security guard has been accused of r*ping a 23-year-old woman living in a PG. Details Of The Crime

According to the news reports, the 23-year-old was living in a PG in Ahmedabad. She was on the terrace at night when the security guard was also present. When she tried to leave, the accused allegedly strangled her neck with a wire andr*ped her, as told by the police. He then left her, locked the door and attempted to run away. Several police teams were formed to locate and arrest the accused, who had reportedly switched off his phone.

After a thorough investigation through the night, the accused was arrested on Sunday, August 9, Sunday, near Hebatpur. Going by the reports, the accused has been identified as Dharam Singh, who hails from Hardoi in Uttar Pradesh. He reportedly tried to flee during a confrontation with the police, snatching an inspector’s pistol. The police retaliated quickly, and the accused got a bullet injury in the leg during this encounter. Reportedly, the man was hired as security for the building just a week before the incident happened.

Some CCTV footage of the accused going to the terrace and leaving the building has also been circulated on social media. It’s crucial in the investigation and is currently being examined. The victim was immediately taken to the hospital and is currently undergoing treatment.
