In a recent turn of events, Ruchi Gujjar, a Jaipur girl who shocked everyone by walking the red carpet wearing a necklace with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s face, has yet again surfaced online. The picture garnered millions of likes when people saw the politician’s picture in her accessory. And this year, she again surprised everyone by entering the Cannes Film Festival in a Rajasthani attire with a pallu over her head.

This year at the Cannes Film Festival 2026, Ruchi Gujjar, who previously wore PM Modi’s necklace, yet again made headlines for her appearance. She donned a traditional Rajasthani ensemble while protesting the practice of veiling. She shared these pictures on Instagram and wrote, “My veil is not silent, it’s a protest.” Her post has been gaining a lot of traction ever since. She was seen in a heavily embroidered royal pin ensemble, which is worn for weddings or other auspicious occasions. The embroidery gave her a royal Rajputana look.

She paired this kurti with a matching ghagra with zari, bootis, and thread embroidery. Ruchi Gujjar accessorised it with traditional jewellery, including a gold and green combo choker featuring kundan and pearl work. She wore matching jhumkas, sheesh patti, and multiple bangles. In the pictures, we also saw her wearing green and gold strings extending from her hands to below her knees. A small bindi on her forehead completed her look.

But what stole everyone’s attention was Ruchi Gujjar pallu, which had attached lotus flowers on the border of it, which is the symbol of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
