At the same time, Indian films and culture are also getting noticed in South Korea. He added that President Lee Jae Myung likes Indian cinema too. Hence, to celebrate this connection, the two leaders announced a massive India-South Korea Friendship Festival in 2028.
This festival will bring events like music shows, film screenings, dance performances, and cultural activities from both countries. It will give fans a chance to enjoy Korean and Indian culture together in one place.
The announcement has made K-pop and K-drama fans in India very excited. Many people are already hoping to see their favourite idols and actors come to India for concerts and fan meets. They believe the 2028 festival will open more doors for Korean stars to visit India and for Indian artists to perform in South Korea.
