Yang Huiyan, the richest woman in Asia lost more than half of her wealth this year after the property crisis worsened in China, as reported by Bloomberg Billionaires Index. Her total wealth dropped to $11 billion from $24 billion last year and you will be shocked to know that she lost more than $1 billion in just one day.
The businesswoman and property developer is a billionaire, who was born in China. She is in charge of the biggest sales-based developer of real estate in China – Country Garden Holdings.

In 2003, Yang Huiyan earned her bachelor’s degree in arts and sciences from Ohio State University. She was also a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars during that time, as per reports.
Her father – Yang Guoqiang founded the real estate business in Foshan, Guangdong province, in the year 1992. Yang Huiyan is the largest stakeholder of Country Garden Holdings.
