Women Visit Premium Liquor Stores More As they Are Safer, Suggests Report
Have you also been hesitant to visit that nearby wine shop to buy alcohol? The hesitation comes because of the uncomfortable surroundings of a wine shop, those unwanted stares as if you are doing something wrong buying alcohol as a woman. I guess most of us have felt that way, and therefore hardly do we prefer to randomly shop for liquor from such stores because we want to legit avoid those stares. Along these lines, a recent survey has found that women rather prefer premium liquor outlets and of course, the reason is that they are much safer.
The survey was commissioned by The International Spirits and Wines Association of India and the responsibility was given to a global research agency Ipsos to conduct survey. The survey was conducted to find out the shopper’s experiences and perspectives about premium liquor stores. It gave out some interesting findings about the customers of high-end liquor stores across the country and how they enhance their customer’s experience. The first and foremost finding from the survey is that women prefer such premium stores to buy their favourite alcoholic beverages for the simple fact that they are safe and secure. Also, the percentage of women visiting such stores has seen a significant increase. As per an article, only 2%of women visit regular wine shops, whereas 10% of the women visit premium liquor stores. It was also noted that 63% of women shop alone in these stores without anyone accompanying them, and only 37% have someone with them. Since these high-end outlets give a wholesome experience to their customers, the survey also revealed that 43% of the buyers comfortably buy their preferred alcohol brand after taking a satisfactory round of all the products the store has to offer.
