Woman Asks Starbucks Barista To Remake Her Drink Because It Didn’t Match Her Foundation. Erm, Sis, What Even?

It seems like some people have are too picky when it comes to food and drinks just like this woman who asked a Starbucks barista to remake her drink because it didn’t match her foundation shade. Well, everything seemed to be fine until the woman made a TikTok video. And soon as the video was uploaded online, it sparked a debate among the users. Erm, sis, what even?

In the viral TikTok video, user @conniecantu can be seen in front of the camera with an iced beverage in her hand. The woman lip-syncs to an audio clip that says, “That was embarrassing. I really hope you’re embarrassed.” Then she pulls out a second drink that is a slightly deeper shade of brown. She made the video to criticise a Starbucks employee for making a drink that doesn’t match her MAC foundation shade. The text on the video reads, “When I ask the barista to please remake my drink because it looks about three shades lighter than NC40, and she says it was already made correctly.” NC40 is a popular foundation shade from MAC Cosmetics—the Studio Fix Fluid Foundation. The viral clip clip has already garnered more than 678,000 views. It has more than 31,000 likes and over 1,300 comments.

The woman who made the TikTok video is being called out by some users. The users called the video unnecessary because the barista remade the drink. One commenter wrote, “Embarrassing? IDK mistakes happen. They will gladly fix the mistake. It’s not embarrassing. Just kinda a condescending audio.” The other wrote, “Girl if it’s not the right shade you should be making your own coffee at home.” Another wrote, “NC40 isn’t a standard measurement tbh. Like who would know what that looks like?”

When a commenter agreed that the espresso had been incorrectly prepared by the Starbucks barista, they asked the woman to kindly let someone know. The TikTok creator said she did, but was frustrated with responses she consistently received over her drinks, “I do let them know kindly, It’s just frustrating when they tell me I’m wrong or act like I’m being too picky. Moooost times they remake it no problem.”

Honestly, I think this is a rather far-fetched effort to rake in the likes on your TikTok. It doesn’t paint you in a good light, in fact, as one of the users pointed out, it makes the woman look condescending AF. Can’t she maybe do a makeup tutorial or something that is actually funny instead of troubling Starbucks employees in the middle of their job?
