No matter how much we want to believe that nothing is impossible for women in today’s time, the fact remains that it is. Despite knowing this fact, women are not demotivated to put in the amount of effort required to achieve the unachievable. Manisha Ropeta is one such woman who has proven that hard work and determination are needed to break stereotypes and has shown us that there are impossible milestones that can still be conquered. She has become the first woman and Hindu cop to hold a senior position in the Pakistan police.

Manisha Ropeta, 26 years old Hindu woman is one of the few cops in Pakistan to hold an officer’s rank. She is in the Sindh police. Since Hindus are a minority in Pakistan and the career in the police force still remains to be a male-dominated area, Manisha’s achievement to break through all of this is applaudable. She is currently holding the position of Deputy Superintendent of Police, as per the report

Manisha’s Childhood

Manisha Ropeta since childhood was always told that if she wants to be educated and work, she can only opt for a career as a teacher or doctor. But Manisha is determined to break such ideas of the society and show that even middle-class women can make a career in the Police force or district courts. The woman officer also said that she believes that crimes against women in the country are increasing, and the need for a woman officer made her choose the path.

Career

As per the news. Manisha Ropeta is currently in her training period. The DSP had also given the MBBS entrance exam, however, she failed it just for one mark. She then went ahead to do a course in physical therapy and simultaneously prepared to crack the Sindh Public Services Commission examinations. Manisha passed the exam with flying colours and secured 16th position among the 468 candidates.
