Any time a person falls really sick, he or she has their own ways of dealing with the illness. Some (like me) end up being more cranky than ever, others like my best friend, resort to morbid pessimism till they start feeling better, and the remaining few like my boyfriend might consider trying to distract themselves by going on a week-long Netflix binge. The best way however, according to me and a whole lot of netizens, is actually the one that this girl from a viral video recently adopted in a covid ward.
Coming up as a life jacket in a sea of depressing and drowning covid news, this video that shows a 30-year-old woman sitting in a hospital ward on a bed, singing the song Love You Zindagi from the hit movie Dear Zindagi. And what melted our hearts was the fact that despite being in the middle of this grim situation as a covid positive patient, she didn’t give up hopes or even her spirits.
Keeping herself strong and motivated, the covid positive woman who was at the time unable to find a bed for herself in the ICU, decided to perch on a hospital bed by herself and sing a song that ended up inspiring not just herself but also thousands of other viewers who came across the clip.

The 20 second long video was posted on the internet by Dr. Monika Langeh through her twitter handle, shows the woman singing the lyrics to the super positive song, all the while waving along and moving to the beats of the catchy song. Covid, what’s that?
Calling her a strong girl, which she undoubtedly is, the doctor also shared how she had a “strong will power”, and advised people through her to ‘never lose the hope’. Perhaps, this is just the kind mid-week motivation we needed to get through this week, specially since all this covid-related news is never good.
