While I have never gone house-hunting, I have a lot of friends who have and have helped them with the same. I have seen a lot of valid questions when people are looking for new tenants but this is the first time I have seen some sort of pop-cultural quiz to figure out whether someone is a worthy tenant or not. A woman has tweeted that she was asked if she is a Phoebe, Rachel or Monica while she was house hunting in Bengaluru and I am intrigued.
I suppose we all have taken one of those quizzes online to see which Vampire Diaries character we are or which Hogwarts house we belong to. But how many of us have had to take something similar when we are looking for a house. Twitter user Astha had to while house hunting in Bengaluru and she has taken to Twitter and shared her experience online. Besides asking general questions such as dietary restrictions and where the person is from, the questionnaire also asked “If you come home one evening and you find Spiderman, Batman, Iron Man, Captain America and Black Widow chilling in the room, who would you hit on.”

2 years back right before Covid came, I got rejected in a apartment interview having similar questions like this but it was face to face and quite fair too since the guy wanted a replacement and he wanted someone who can match the same interests in life.

I don’t know about you people but this whole situation is downright comical to me. Well, apartment hunting is definitely a task, to say the least. Let’s hope Astha finds an apartment as nice as Monica’s.
