To Stay Away From Wife, Man Faked A Covid-19 Positive Report. A Bit Much?
This pandemic has brought us loneliness, isolation and a lot of mental health issues. However, a lot of people wish they could get away from certain people, and not have them offended. The friend who always cribs? The creepy guy who keeps hitting on you? The colleague who expects you to be available on weekends? You sometimes wish you could just put up a DND on them. Having said that, I wouldn’t want to feel that way about my partner. I wouldn’t want my partner lie to my face either. So while marriages are meant to be about feeling happy together, a man went all out to forge a Covid-19 positive report, so he could stay away from his wife.
The resident of Madhya Pradesh had married only in February this year but he seems like he already needs space. And he decided to take the route laden with lies. The smarty went ahead and downloaded a Covid-19 positive report from the website of a private testing center and wrote his name on it.
He then sent the fake report to his father and wife and then just disappeared from his home. However, his family members were one step ahead of him as they sniffed out the lie. They got suspicious because he had not exhibited any symptoms.

“He sent the forged report through Whatsapp to his father and wife and then disappeared from his home. However, family members got suspicious as he had not shown any symptom of the infection. When they contacted the private laboratory, the accused’s fraudulent act was revealed,” Chhoti Gwaltoli police station in charge Sanjay Shulka said.
Oh well, he landed himself in quite a soup! His father is pissed, his wife mad and the laboratory, is definitely not happy. The lab filed a case against him and he was booked under IPC provisions for forgery and other offences.

We don’t know why he lied. Did he need space? Is he having an affair? Either way, it landed him in trouble. So here’s the thing. Either you make your lie fool-proof or you don’t lie at all. I guess he learned it the hard way!
