This Couple Engaging In PDA In Bihar Were Called Out, Abused By Locals. But Also, There Was A Moving Bike Involved

I am not an advocate of PDA. The most I can do is hold my partner’s hand. Anything more makes me all jittery. But what I don’t condone is people policing couples who want to engage in PDA. It’s really ironic that a little intimacy makes Indians so uncomfortable. After all, we are on the verge of a population explosion. I say this after a couple in Bihar were reprimanded by locals after they were engaging in some steamy on a bike. Why can’t people just live and let live?

A video showing a couple from Bihar’s Gaya district getting intimate in public has gone viral on social media. In the video, the couple is on a bike. The girl is sitting on the fuel tank facing the man who is riding the Royal Enfield bike. Reportedly, while they were having fun, a few locals, who were riding behind them, spotted their “inappropriate” activities and started recording.

They then stopped the couple and began reprimanding them for their behaviour. Soon, a few more locals joined in and started interrogating the couple in a harsh manner. A few cuss words were hurled at them. The couple, obviously terrified, profusely apologized and promised never to return to that village again. We don’t get why everyone’s panties are in a bunch when two grown adults show affection but given our threshold for taking offense, we can’t say we are suprised.

It’s good that the locals stopped this couple but they did it for all the wrong reasons. Getting intimate in public is not a crime. However, a fully grown adult sitting on the fuel tank is a traffic violation and crazily dangerous. When are we going to stop this inane moral policing? It’s shameful and disgusting.
