Recently, a Linkedin post is going quite viral on the internet where a man named Jimeet Gandhi shared the heartwarming story about his mother who lost her husband but found love and remarried at the age of 52 after beating cancer and Covid-19. In 2013, Jimmet’s father passed away and just a year later, his mother was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer. After that, she had to complete multiple chemotherapy sessions for the next couple of years. And if that was not enough to drain her emotionally and physically, she contracted the Delta variant of the Covid-19 virus.

She had to go through this all alone because her children were working elsewhere, the woman battled depression and anxiety like the true champion that she is. After going through such difficult times, she found the love that she truly deserves at the age of 52 which looks like a total miracle and also tied the knot with the person without caring about what society will think about her, that’s so beautiful. “She decided to break all stigmas, all taboos in Indian society and married someone she loves. She is a warrior. She is a fighter. She is my mom,” her son wrote in the post. While concluding, Jimmet Gandhi urged other people to support their parents in finding companionship.
