Social Worker Forces Sick Padma Shri Awardee Kamala Pujari To Dance In Hospital, Paraja Tribal Community Calls For Action

But some people don’t understand this simple concept and at times, they cross the limit in the name of fun which is very problematic, to be honest. In Odisha, members of the Paraja Tribal Community demanded action against the social worker, identified as Mamata Behera for forcing their icon, Kamala Pujari, who is a Padma Shri awardee, to dance in the hospital before she was discharged. The incident came to light after a video surfaced on social media platforms. In the viral video, the Padma Shri Awardee, along with the social worker was seen dancing inside the ICU of a government hospital in Cuttack.

After the incident, Kamali Pujari said that she was forced to dance and she denied it repeatedly. However, Behera did not listen and she had to dance even though she was sick and tired, as per the reports.
President of the tribal community’s association ‘Paraja Samaja’ – Harish Muduli mentioned that the members of the community will hit the streets if the state government fails to take proper action against the social worker. The registrar of the hospital said that the social worker used to visit Pujari at the special cabin.

Meanwhile, Mamata Behera said that she had no bad intentions and that she just wanted to shun Kamala Pujari’s laziness. To be very honest, her reasons don’t make any sense and this is not the way you treat a person.
