Shruti Haasan Says She Doesn’t Depend On Her Parents To Pay Her Bills
The pandemic has been a sort of a time out for most people. Staying in the house, taking up different challenges on social media, leaning how to cook or dance, binge-watching on Netflix and zoom calling friends. But for a lot of others, it has been a stressful period, one that has forced us to consider going out and working despite the risk that the virus poses to our life. Because after all, our bills won’t pay themselves. And turns out, Shruti Haasan has a similar concern.
She may be a star kid but she has been independent from the financial aid of her parents, and so, Shruti Hassan is one of the few star kids out there who is looking after herself, all by herself.
“I can’t hide out and wait for the pandemic to end,” says actor Shruti Haasan while she talked about how even though it is rather scary and tough amidst a pandemic and a health scare but that it will be important once the lockdown lifts, simply because she too has bills to pay and a household to run.

She says, “Being on set without a mask is very scary. I’m not going to lie. But we’ve to get back to work because I have financial constraints, just like anybody else.” Shruti also added, “When they’re ready to shoot, I’ve to go out there as I also have shoots to complete and other professional commitments that I need to finish.”
As relatable as ever, especially to the lot of us who too are struggling with the same issues, Shruti says, “We make different amounts of money, but we all have bills to pay, and that is why I’ll have to get back to work”. No wonder, Shruti calls herself an “independent woman who pays her own bills” as she clears the fact that despite being the daughter of renowned actor Kamal Haasan, “I have my limitations. I don’t have my daddy or mommy helping me”.
