Rivaba Jadeja, Wife Of Cricketer Ravindra Jadeja, Is On The Probable List Of BJP For The Upcoming Gujarat Assembly Polls
Celebs entering politics is not something unheard of. Jaya Bachchan, Kirron Kher, and so many have joined politics and have had successful careers in it. Joining this list is the cricketer Ravindra Jadeja’s wife Rivaba Jadeja. Yes, three years ago, Rivaba Jadeja joined the BJP and now, she is one of the candidates that the party is considering giving a ticket to for the upcoming Gujarat assembly polls. It is on November 9, that the BJP Central Election Committee is meeting to finalise which candidates will get the party ticket and which won’t.

Rivaba Jadeja, the wife of cricketer Ravindra Jadeja, is a mechanical engineer from the Atmiya Institute of Technology and Science. She is also related to Congress veteran Hari Singh Solanki. She has also led the Karni Sena – a Rajput community. And now, BJP might just give her a party ticket for the upcoming Gujarat assembly polls.

Other than Rivaba Jadeja, there will be young leaders like Hardik Patel and Alpesh Thakor who migrated from Congress that will be probably getting the BJP ticket. As per reports, many of the sitting MLAs are not going to be on the party’s probable list for Gujarat assembly polls that are scheduled to be held from December 1 to 5.

For those unversed, Rivaba Jadeja got married to Indian cricketer Ravindra Jadeja in 2016, and have a daughter together named Nidhyana Jadeja. She decided to enter politics after she was slapped by a police constable for hitting his bike with her car in Jamnagar, Gujarat, in May 2018. And in March 2019, she joined BJP in Gujarat in the presence of R C Faldu, the state Agriculture minister, and MP Poonam Madam. Her reason for joining politics was to hold people accountable for their actions.
