I recently went through a pretty hard time in my life have been stuck in a toxic cycle of seeking validation from my partners and am currently trying to break that cycle. It is a lot of work and returning back to the same patterns feels almost natural. However, this time with just myself has taught me the importance of being by myself and actually figuring out what I want. I feel like my last relationship is what made me take this decision and I am genuinely so pleased with it. I don’t know about you guys but this thread taught me a lot.
