NCB Officer Sameer Wankhede’s Sister Accuses Minister Nawab Malik Of Stalking And Blackmail

There have unfortunately been countless cases of women’s personal information and privacy being used as material for blackmail. It is difficult yet very important to protect our personal data in this digital age. Going along with this train of thought, NCB Official Sameer Wankhede’s sister, advocate Yasmeen Wankhede, has accused minister Nawab Malik of stalking and blackmailing her.
As the battle between Sameer Wankhede, who is the Zonal Director of NCB Mumbai unit, and Maharashtra Minister Nawab Malik gets nastier by the day, Wankhede’s sister, Yasmeen Wankhede, has alleged that Malik has been stalking and threatening her online.

According to Zee News, she wrote a letter to the woman’s commission saying, “….recently the cabinet minister of the ruling State Government Nawab Malik made various false and scandalous allegations against me and my family members in order to deter my brother from honestly carrying out his duties. The said accused Nawab Malik in his attempt to defame me and my family members has gone to the extent of stalking me online and illegally taking my personal photographs from my social media handles i.e., Instagram, Facebook etc.”
She continued to state in the letter, “The said accused Nawab Malik after stalking me online is now threatening to use my personal photographs and leak the same in media. That, the said accused has thus apart from committing the offence of stalking is also equally liable for the infringement of my privacy.”
Yasmeen wrote that Malik is trying to use psychological manipulation and pressure tactics to derail the NCB investigation. She ended the letter by requesting an investigation and action be taken against Malik.
