Navya Naveli Is Sassy And Smart And She’s Giving It Back To Trolls
The expose on the nepotism culture in Bollywood, despite it being pretty evident to everyone, led to every star kid being singled out and being called out for their privilege, whether or not they were pursuing acting. And because of this, a lot of star kids were caught under this crossfire, including Navya Naveli Nanda, granddaughter of actor Amitabh Bachchan.
Known as much for her philanthropic work and efforts towards standing up for social causes, as much as she is known for being the grand child of a Bollywood superstar, Navya has been making quite a few strides to do something worthwhile for the society. One of her recent initiatives being launching her NGO Project Naveli that aims at promoting gender equality.
And no matter how much good she was trying to do in her own capacity for the women out there, providing them with a platform to empower them, seems like trolls would always find a way or two to bring them down. Like this one user, who commented on her inauguration post as he wrote, “If the project meant so much to you, then where were you in the inauguration?”

Except, Navya didn’t sit back and let the troll assume the worst of her. Adopting what netizens are calling the sassy and smart ways of her uncle, Abhishek Bachchan, who too is known for his fun come backs on social media, Navya Naveli set the troll straight in just one reply.
She replied back, “I’m sure you’re aware we’re in the middle of a pandemic?” and with that, she reinstated how she is not the kind to be taken for a ride. This exchange of savagery took place in the comment section of her post where her Project Naveli had shared pictures of the inauguration of a “Period Positive Home” in the Maharashtrian town of Gadchiroli.
This was also not the first time that Navya stood up against the trolls on social media. Previously, she gave it back to a troll who dared question and make nasty remarks over her mother’s profession, going ahead to defend all the home-makers and the kind of efforts they put into keeping a family together.
