With every passing day, I lose a lot more hope in humanity. Just when I think that people can’t surprise me with their behaviour, some person in some part of this country does a deed that is horrifying and traumatic. What am I talking about this time? Well, I’m talking about this man in Pune, Maharashtra, who was arrested by the police for allegedly having sex with a buffalo calf. Yes, the man was caught having sex with a buffalo calf by a passerby who beat him till he fell unconscious.
On Saturday, a man who is from Nepal was rushed to Sassoon General Hospital after a passerby caught him having sex with a buffalo calf in the Deccan area of Pune city, Maharashtra. The police based on the evidence submitted by the locals arrested the 38-year-man.

As per reports, a senior inspector of Deccan Police station who is part of the investigation said, “Based on the evidence submitted by locals, we have registered an FIR against the man under section 377 (unnatural sex) and other relevant provisions of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and Prevention of Cruelty Against Animals Act.” He also added that the man who allegedly had sex with a buffalo calf will be arrested after he gets discharged.

This is honestly so traumatic. It is disgusting to think that just because animals can’t protect themselves, we humans think it is okay to treat them the way we want to. At this point, I would even say that we are way worse as even animals know their boundaries and don’t really harm another living being until they don’t have a reason. Just the thought of a man having sex with an animal that to a baby, is just gross.
