Man Kicked Off US Flight For Wearing Thong As Mask. Just Wear A Damn Mask, People!
So anti-maskers are a thing, unfortunately. And most of them are anti-maskers because they are incapable of understanding basic logic and rationality. I said what I said. And they use some of the most absurd and baseless excuses to get away with not wearing a mask or replacing it with something else. A similar case was seen in the US as a man was kicked off a flight for trying to wear a thong as a mask. A fellow passenger recorded the incident and posted it online, the video went viral. People somehow always find ways to surprise me.
38-year-old Adam Jenne was asked to get off a flight in Florida before it left the Fort Lauderdale airport. His reason for doing this was to show the “absurdity” of forcing passengers to wear a mask while travelling by flight and allowing them to be removed if the passenger is eating or drinking.
In the video, the crew kept telling Jenne that he would not be allowed to stay on the flight wearing a thong on his face (a sentence I never thought I would have to form). After some back and forth with the crew, he finally got off the plane. The crew member kept saying that it is the feral law and not something they can overlook or control. Moreover, as seen in the video, another passenger got off the flight too in support of Adam Jenne’s anti-masker cause; the SJW hero no one asked for.

According to reports, United Airlines said in a statement, “the customer clearly wasn’t in compliance with the federal mask mandate and we appreciate that our team addressed the issue on the ground prior to takeoff, avoiding any potential disruptions on the air.”
I feel bad for people in the service industry during times like these. People like Adam Jenne not only cause a risk to themselves and the people around them by refusing to follow basic pandemic protocols but also make the employee’s jobs harder than they already are. Like… just wear an actual mask, people. It isn’t that deep.
