Meet Madhulika Singh, The Lady Who Saved The Lives Of 15 Men During Karauli Riots
You know, I feel very proud about the fact that I live in a country where people belonging to different religions live together. After all, our nation is all about diversity, right? However, some corrupt-minded people try to disturb the peace which is absolutely shameful but some good people still exist, and they are saving the world with kindness. Recently, a woman in Rajasthan saved 15 men from the frenzied mob during the Karauli riots.
The 48-year-old woman named Madhulika Singh saved the lives of 15 men, most of them were Muslim, she stood alone in front of the frenzied mob who were trying to harm them during the Karauli violence in Rajasthan. The mother of 2 children runs a shop in Karauli, Madhulika lost her husband five years ago, as per reports. It all started when a rally to celebrate the Hindu New Year entered an area where Muslims live. According to the reports, sensitive slogans and songs were playing at the rally. After that, people started throwing stones at the rally and it became violent. The woman heard people screaming outside her shop and she went out to see what was happening. She saw people running out of the shopping complex as some men were trying to set many shops on fire.

After that, 15 men told her to help them as they were scared for their lives and she told them to hide in the shop. “I locked the gate of this shopping complex and told them not to worry. I saved them because above everything else it is humanity that matters,” she said. According to the reports, the mob tried to break in, but the woman stopped them.
The Karauli riots have led to a clash between the BJP and Congress. However, people living in the town don’t want anyone to disturb the atmosphere as they want to live in peace.
