Madhubala’s Niece Writes To New Zealand PM Jacinda Ardern About Her Mother’s Inhumane Treatment

Madhubala’s Niece Writes To New Zealand PM Jacinda Ardern About Her Mother’s Inhumane Treatment

For me, something that can hurt me a lot would be someone ill-treating my mother. I mean, I understood when Gigi Hadid decided to part ways with Zayn Malik when he misbehaved with her mother. In fact, why go all the way to Hollywood for example? Just look at the news that came out weeks ago regarding Madhubala’s sister. Yes, I’m talking about Kaniz, Madhubala’s 96-year-old sister, who was forcefully made to board a flight from Auckland to Mumbai by her recently-widowed daughter-in-law. And she did all of that without providing Kaniz with money or food. This traumatic experience that she faced left a lot of people angry, among which was her daughter Perveez Somjee. Perveez has now written a letter to the Prime Minister of New Zealand, Jacinda Ardern, stating how her mother was ill-treated in Auckland.

Perveez Somjee, Madhubala’s niece, has written a letter to Jacinda Ardern, Prime Minister (PM) of New Zealand, wherein she has elaborated on the ill-treatment and inhumane treatment her mother, Kaniz, got while being in Auckland.

Speaking in an interview, Perveez Somjee confirmed the news about her writing a letter to Jacinda Ardern. Madhubala’s niece said, “It is true that I have written a letter to the New Zealand Prime Minister in this regard but I don’t want to elaborate.”

She also had said in a previous interview that her mother, who happens to be Madhubala’s sister, was ill-treated by her sister-in-law after her brother passed away on January 8th, 2022. Perveez Somjee further revealed, “Imagine, it’s not even a month since my brother left us… Sameena has kept everything that my mother had, including her jewellery.”

Hearing about Madhubala’s sister’s condition was extremely heartbreaking. It is so sad that a 96-year-old woman had to suffer through so much. Honestly, I can’t even imagine what it would be like for the daughter to see her mother in such a condition. No wonder, she chose to write a letter to Jacinda Ardern, the PM of New Zealand.
