MacKenzie Scott, Jeff Bezos’s Ex-Spouse Files For A Divorce From Her Second Husband, Dan Jewett
There is a lot happening across the world in terms of relationships when it comes to the lives of celebrities or well-known personalities. From news about cheating to marriages to now divorce. This makes me wonder how many kinds of things you deal with in a relationship. But, mainly, divorce can be quite a big decision in life. Parting ways with a partner you once decided to live with forever is huge. Recently, MacKenzie Scott is making headlines for being in this situation as she has reportedly filed for a divorce with her second husband, Mr. Dan Jewett.
MacKenzie Scott, by profession, is an author and philanthropist. She owns a 4% stake at Amazon too. Her first marriage was to the Amazon founder, Jeff Bezos but due to their personal differences, the couple decided to end their relationship. They announced divorce in 2019, and with that their 25 years of marriage ended. Now, MacKenzie Scott has decided to part ways with her second husband, Dan Jewett whom she married in the year 2021. The marriage clearly did not last very long.

As per the report by The New York Times, Dan Jewett’s name did not appear on a site named, Giving Pledge, where the billionaires sign up for giving half of their wealth before they die. In fact, Dan Jewett, who was a science teacher by profession, does not even appear on MacKenzie Scott’s Amazon author bio. Reportedly, the divorce has been filed by MacKenzie in the King County Court, Washington but there have been no official statements by either party involved in this.
