You must have thought that his presence would be what people were looking for, but let me tell you that it is the owner of Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) that stole the spotlight. Many people during IPL auctions were looking to know who Kaviya Maran, the CEO of Sunrisers Hyderabad, is.

Kaviya Maran is the daughter of media baron Kalanithi Maran and also the co-owner of the IPL cricket team, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). She also plays a crucial role in SUN Music and FM channels of SUN TV.

In fact, reports suggest that Dayanidhi Maran, who is a member of the Parliament from Chennai Central, is the 30-year-old’s uncle. On Saturday, February 12th, 2022, Kaviya Maran was also seen with Tom Moody, the Director of SRH, and bowling mentor Muttiah Muralitharan at the IPL auction 2022 in Bengaluru.

Kaviya Maran was actually first seen on television during SRH and KKR’s IPL match back in 2018 at the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium in Uppal. And it was during last year’s IPL auctions that she started trending on social media as Twitterati referred to her as SRH auction girl.

Well, though she is not seen a lot during matches, she does make an appearance from time to time to support her team, Sunrisers Hyderabad. Let’s see, if even this year during IPL matches, will she make an appearance or not.
