Jacqueline Fernandez Not Allowed To Leave Country Amidst ED Probe

Being someone that has lived in Dubai and spent a considerable amount of her childhood there, I can say that I have had my fair share of experiences with the immigration officers at the airport. However, I have personally not had any negative experiences with them. Mainly because I was a kid at the time and my parents used to handle most of the formalities attached to it. However, Jacqueline Fernandez was not as lucky as she was stopped by the immigration officials from leaving the country last Sunday.

Jacqueline Fernandez was not allowed to leave the country by immigration officials as there is a Look Out Circular (LOC) issued by the Enforcement Directorate against her. The LOC against her was issued mainly due to her relationship with conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar who is being tried under a case of extortion and money laundering. 

According to sources, Jacqueline wanted to go to Dubai for a show and was stopped at the Mumbai airport. She will now be taken to Delhi for further questioning. The ED recently filed a charge against Sukesh and everyone connected to him and the Rs 200-crore money laundering case. The allegation is that while being in Tihar jail, Sukesh conned the wife of a businessman.

The ED earlier stated that they had found monetary transactions between Jacqueline Fernandez and Sukesh Chandrashekhar. She allegedly received a lot of gifts from him as well. Other than Fernandez, actor Nora Fatehi was also included in the probe. An official stated that as the investigation is still on they did not want Jacqueline Fernandez leaving the country. This is why a LOC was issued against her.

Seems like Jacqueline Fernandez has found herself in the middle of quite a bit of drama this time. Having run-ins with the law and immigration is never a fun experience. Let us hope she is able to sort this issue out, for her own benefit.
