Naval Personnel Booked For Allegedly Raping A Teen And Threatening Her. Aren’t They Supposed To Protect Us?
You know, it is really saddening when someone you think will never hurt you breaks your trust and makes your life miserable. By doing so, the person makes you believe that you can never trust anyone. Having said that, in a shocking incident, a naval personnel got booked for allegedly raping a teen girl who was his friend, the accused man also threatened her to not reveal this ordeal to anyone. Women can’t even trust those people who are supposed to protect them.
On Thursday, a navy engineer got booked for raping a 19-year-old girl. The accused reportedly raped her and threatened her to not reveal the ordeal to anyone and said that if she tells anyone about the incident, it will only malign her image. However, the teen girl revealed the ordeal to her parents, friends, and hostel manager. The case has been registered against the accused navy man under section 376 and the probe is underway.

According to the reports, the victim studies in a private college and is currently staying in a hostel in Navy Nagar in South Mumbai. She filed a complaint against the accused on Tuesday at the Cuffe Parade police station.
The official mentioned that the victim shifted to Navy Nagar in August 2022 and the accused also came to stay in the same area due to his work. The teen girl knew the Navy engineer since 202o when she was staying with her family and both of them become friends during the lockdown.
