In Bihar, A Sorcerer Advised A Couple To Sacrifice An 8-Year-Old Girl To Prevent A Miscarriage.
My grandfather always told me these terrifying stories about black magic and sorcerers. How they take over your life and make you do bizarre and dangerous things. He told me stories of hypnotists, hex bags and voodoo dolls with pins stuck in them. Obviously, I always took stories at face value. Admittedly, I was extremely intrigued by the mystery of it all. But little did I know that there was an ugly truth behind the stories I heard growing up. Even in the 21st century, people consult sorcerers and blindly believe in black magic. In fact, just recently, in Bihar, an 8-year-old girl was murdered as part of a human sacrifice ritual on the advice of a sorcerer.
It all started last week when the mutilated body of an 8-year-old girl was found in a secluded area. The body had both eyes gouged out and the injuries to her private parts raised the suspicion of rape. But the post-mortem didn’t align with this chain of investigation. Instead, the police were pointed in the direction of human sacrifice. The details of this case are baffling.
The prime accused, Dilip Kumar told the police that he was told by a sorcerer called Parwez Alam that he needed to sacrifice a “virgin girl” to avoid his wife having a miscarriage. According to reports, this tantric told Dilip that his wife, who was pregnant, needed to wear an amulet that was made from the blood and eyes of the girl he would sacrifice. After hearing all this, Dilip turned to a man called Tanveer Alam. He had introduced the couple to this tantric in the first place and also played a huge role in this crime by making arrangements for the sacrifice to take place at his poultry farm.

Last Thursday, once it was all set up, this 8-year-old girl was abducted. She was returning home after delivering lunch to her father who is a fisherman. After brutally murdering this girl, the police said, that the couple and Tanveer then met the sorcerer who made the amulet and gave it to the pregnant woman to wear around her neck.
The police have arrested all four people, including the sorcerer, involved in this gruesome crime. How can people just blindly believe something like this? In what world is human sacrifice the answer to anything? It’s absolutely disturbing.
