Five 3-Ingredient Breakfast Recipes That Are Easy To Follow And Don’t Contain Eggs

Time and time again we have heard the phrase, breakfast is the most important meal of the day. My mother won’t let me leave the house without eating something and usually, it is something as basic as toast. But generally, thanks to my currently employed status I skip it, because I’m inevitably always running late. I think any working person is always running late and breakfast seems to be the one step of the day that is easiest to skip, right? Wrong! It is important to have a hearty breakfast because believe it or not, it really does get you through the day. But contrary to popular belief, nutrition doesn’t always mean bad tasting or long hours to cook. You will be surprised at how healthy a small and handy snack can be that takes not more than 15 minutes to cook! That being said, we have for you today nutrition-packed three-ingredient breakfasts that you can have on the go! Oh, and did I mention they are all eggless? Yep, check it out and be prepared because you will love these!

1.Chia Seeds Overnight Pudding

Don’t let the name scare you, I promise this tastes delicious. Not to mention it is super healthy considering it is made only out of chia seeds, almond milk, and honey. Mix all three ingredients in a mason jar or an air-tight container and leave it in the fridge overnight. Next morning, you will have a handy, healthy and yum breakfast. The chia seed pudding is rich in fibre, protein and it also has de-bloating abilities. Can you ask for anything better? Pro tip: you can switch up the almond milk with coconut milk too.

2.Green Smoothie

You know, ever since I was young, my parents have forced me to eat my greens. Personally, I thought they tasted like poison. Then I came across the perfect recipe for the green smoothie that gives you all the health benefits and none of the bitter taste. You will need half a cup of kale, half a cup of pineapple, and plain yogurt. Blend it all together and add just a little water to get the consistency right. It is an ideal breakfast on the go. The ingredients should give you an idea of the health benefits.

3.Yogurt parfait

One of my favourite things to have in the morning. It’s easy to make, easy to store and easy to eat! All you need is plain low-fat yogurt, granola, and honey. Yup, that’s all. Take a small jar, put a layer of the yogurt top it off with a layer of granola and honey and then put another layer of yogurt over it and drizzle some honey. To make it better you can garnish it with fresh berries or flaxseeds!

5.Flourless Banana muffins

Everyone will agree with me when I say muffins are the best breakfast ever. But usually they contain eggs and excessive flour that isn’t really good for us. So, we have the recipe for flourless banana muffins that’s sweet but doesn’t have all the extra calories sugar brings.  All you need is, raw bananas, baking powder and instant oats. Grind the oats in a food processor as fine as you can, until it resembles flour. Then add the sliced banana and baking powder. Put this batter in a prepared muffin tin and bake for 13-14 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit. They will taste exactly like moist banana bread! Pro tip: you can also add in a few chocolate chips or a spoon of vanilla essence. Delicious and seemingly healthy, these will really make your day!

5.Chocolate chip and oats breakfast cookies

The one thing I crave in the morning is chocolate, but you can’t possibly eat chocolate every morning. Unfortunately, it isn’t very healthy. So we scoured the internet for some very special recipes to make the best chocolate chip oat cookies. All you need is an overly ripe banana, instant oats and of course, chocolate chips. Mash the bananas in a bowl, add the instant oats and then the chocolate chips and mix well. Then spray some cooking spray on a baking a tray and put small scoops of the batter on to it. And into the oven for 15 minutes at 250 degrees. But just a warning, if you are expecting them to come out of the oven all crispy like a store-bought cookie, you will be disappointed. They will gooey, chewy and all kinds of delish though.
