Union Budget 2022: FM Nirmala Sitaraman Set To Uplift Women, Children With Mission Shakti, Mission Vatsalya, Saksham Anganwadi, and More

Finally, the one thing that we all women were waiting for desperately is here! No, I’m not talking about an earth-shattering orgasm, but rather the Budget 2022. It’s February 1st, 2022, and as expected the Finance Minister of India Nirmala Sitharaman presented the Union Budget of the year 2022-2023. And by the overall looks of it seems that this year is all set to uplift women and children of India. Yep, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman during her presentation of the Union Budget highlighted the government’s decision to empower women and children using boosters!

On Tuesday, February 1st, 2022, Nirmala Sitharaman, the Finance Minister of India, presented the Budget 2022 in the Parliament and along with it also underlined the government’s decision to empower women and children using various boosters like Mission Shakti, Mission Vatsalya, Saksham Anganwadi, and Poshan 2.0 that will improve their intellectual, economic, and social growth.

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, while presenting the Budget 2022, said that the government is constantly and comprehensively reworking on schemes of the Ministry of Women and Child Development to come up with boosters like Mission Shakti, Mission Vatsalya, Saksham Anganwadi, and Poshan 2.0 so as to provide benefits and empower women as well as children in India.

In her presentation of the Union Budget 2022, Nirmala Sitharaman said, “Recognising the importance of ‘Nari Shakti’, 3 schemes were launched to provide integrated development for women and children… 2 lakh Anganwadis will be upgraded for improving child health.” The Finance Minister of India talking about the importance of the health of children further added that Saksham Aanganvadis will be upgraded to use clean energy for early child development and that the upgraded Aanganvadis will play an important role in the same.

The reports also suggest that Nirmala Sitharaman, the Finance Minister, said in her presentation of the Budget 2022 that the government is pushing for the betterment of women’s lives. She also went on to say that Mission Shakti will further help in strengthening and improving women across the country with its extension. 

Ngl, the Budget 2022 seems to have an aim to improve the condition of women and children in India – whether it be economically, socially, intellectually, or all of it.
