Father, Brother, Grandfather, And Uncle Sexually Assault 11-Year-Old Girl For 5 Years In Pune
As a woman, I feel safest when I’m with my family. But there are a few disgusting people in this world who don’t understand the word ‘family ‘ and cross every line of shamelessness. Day after day, the cases we hear about women being molested and raped by their own family members is increasing. One such case came to light where a father, brother, grandfather, and uncle raped an 11-year-old girl for 5 years. Why women are not safe in their own houses?
The heinous crime took place in Pune where an 11-year-old girl was raped by her own 45-year-old father and teenage brother multiple times, her grandfather and uncle sexually assaulted her as well over the past five years. The victim and the family members hail from Bihar and currently, they are living in Pune. In 2017, the father started sexually assaulting his own daughter when they used to live in Bihar. After that, the brother started assaulting the girl in 2020. Meanwhile, the uncle and grandfather also used to touch the victim inappropriately.

According to the police, the girl opened up about the incident after a ‘good touch and bad touch’ session in her school. It’s so important to educate the kids about such things so they can understand if anything wrong is happening to them and seek help.
The case was registered under various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) for rape and molestation and sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act will be added as well, the police said. However, they haven’t arrested any accused yet which does not make sense at all. The Police also mentioned that it is not a case of gang rape because all the incidents happened separately.

We hope both all the accused get punished severely for committing such a heinous crime of rape against a minor girl.
