And this is not just a fact of the world but also a reality in our country. Don’t believe me? Well, just take the instance of this minor Dalit girl who was allegedly gang raped and set on fire by two men in Uttar Pradesh. The brutality of this horrendous crime goes to show how far from humanity we have come as a society. I mean, for crying out loud, she is a minor girl! And subjecting her to such kind of torture is just inhumane and disgusting.
A 16-year-old minor Dalit girl was allegedly gang raped and set on fire by two men on September 7, 2022. The horrifying incident took place in Madhav Tanda, Uttar Pradesh. The girl was later admitted to the hospital and is undergoing treatment.

Speaking about the girl that was gang raped, Dinesh Kumar Prabhu, the Superintendent of Police said that she is in a “serious condition”. The police also disclosed that the two men who have a connection with the incident have been arrested.
The horrifying case came to light when a video of the young Dalit girl narrating the entire incident went viral on Saturday, September 10, 2022. The police said that the girl was first gang raped and then the two men tried to kill her by setting her on fire after pouring diesel on her.

As per reports, Superintendent of Police Dinesh Kumar Prabhu further added that a case was registered against the two men on Saturday night under the IPC (Indian Penal Code), the Protection of Children against Sexual Offenders (POCSO) Act, and the Schedule Castes/Schedule Tribes Act.
The two men who gang raped the 16-year-old are currently being questioned and the incident is thoroughly being invested by the police.
