All Transgender Students Pass Class 12 CBSE Exams. Here’s To More Opportunities And Breaking Barriers!

We all have gone through the anticipation of waiting for our 10th and 12th results, right? The wait until we open the website to know how much we have scored leaves most people nervous. Students work hard throughout the year and appear for the class 12 exams. It is after these exams, that students decide their future career paths. Well, the CBSE class 12 results were announced on July 22. The results have come out well, particularly for the transgender community because students from this community have received a 100 per cent pass percentage.

Transgender Community Students Get 100% Pass Percentage

As per a report by English Jagran, students from the Transgender community have scored a 100 per cent pass percentage. This implies that not a single student from this community has failed the CBSE class 12 exams. The overall pass percentage for 2022 is 92.71 per cent. The students from Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya have scored very well in this year’s examinations.

It is this time as well that girls have scored more than boys. The overall percentage for girls is 94.54 per cent whereas the overall per cent 91.25 per cent. As for the region in India from where the students performed the best, it was Trivandrum. The regions of Bengaluru, Chennai and Delhi East follow next in terms of best performance by students with 98.16 per cent, 97.79 per cent and 96.29 per cent respectively.

It is such a piece of great news for the Transgender community. Given how difficult it is for these students to grab employment and educational opportunities, this will be a pathbreaker or more like the first step for them towards securing their future. It is good to see these students get opportunities instead of getting discriminated against.
