There is no limit to the ongoing celebration in a wedding household. Especially the baarat, right? Being on the groom’s side has this perk and it is so much fun to be dancing with the baarat until you reach the bride, isn’t it? These days, even the groom himself is seen dancing with his relatives on the occasion. But in a shocking turn of events in Rajasthan, a groom got too drunk and carried away the revelries of his baarat that he delayed the whole wedding. This angered the bride who then got married to another man.
Bride Marries Another Man After Groom Delays Wedding
According to a report by India Today, this incident has taken place in Rajasthan’s Churu district. On May 15, the groom, Sunil, and his family arrived at the bride’s village for the wedding. It was a night wedding and the baarat set out to reach the bride’s place at 9 PM. But the groom and his friends got so drunk and began enjoying themselves a little too much to the music playing that they started delaying the wedding.
The auspicious time of the pheras was set at 1.15 AM and yet the groom and his friends did not pay heed to the time restriction and continued dancing and merrymaking. This caused the bride and her family members to get angry. She got frustrated and told the baarat to return while her family members decided to marry her to someone else.

Well, this was not the end of it. The groom had then gone to Rajgarh police station to file a complaint against the bride and her family. Defending her decision, the bride said that the groom and his family were ‘careless’ about the time of the pheras which would, of course, continue ahead as well. In the end, family issues were cited as the cause of the marriage not taking place.
