Bengaluru Man Throws Acid On A Woman After She Turns Down His Marriage Proposal. Proof Men Can’t Handle Rejection

This is horrible!

Let me state a fact: most men in India cannot handle rejection. You can blame whoever you want – parenting, patriarchal society, etc. etc. but the truth is that men can’t tolerate rejection especially if it’s a woman rejecting them. And the proof of that statement is the many cases of violent crimes that are committed with the reason being rejection. Just take the instance of this man from Bengaluru who threw acid on a woman after she rejected his marriage proposal.

On Thursday morning, a man named Nagesh, who is a government employee, threw acid on a 24-year-old woman after she turned down his marriage proposal. The victim who is an employee of Muthoot Finance has sustained more than 25% burn injuries is currently being medically treated at a private hospital in Bengaluru.

As per the reports, the man visited the woman’s office on Wednesday night and proposed to her. The 24-year-old rejected his marriage proposal and he did not take it well. Some of her colleagues had to intervene and asked him to leave her alone.

The man left that night but returned on Thursday morning, at 9 am, to carry out his acid attack. He came with an acid bottle and threw it on the woman when she reached her office building staircase and then fled from the spot.

Speaking about the victim that suffered from the acid attack, Deputy Commissioner of Police (West), Sanjeev M Patil said, “The victim sustained burn injuries on her chest, back, and head. The woman received immediate treatment and is out of dancer now. However, doctors told us that they would keep her under observation for seven days.”

The Kamakshipalya police have started a manhunt to trace and find Nagesh.
