A Perfect Throwback Thursday: Raveena Tandon Finds A Photograph Of Her At Rishi Kapoor And Neetu Kapoor’s Wedding
Rummaging through old childhood photographs of me and my parents from when they were kids is one of my most favourite things to do. Sitting in a flood of old photo albums, talking a stroll down memory lane and trying to recall a much simpler, and happier time always leaves me in high spirits. Not to forget, reminds me of some of the best moments of my life. As is what actress Raveena Tandon must have been trying to do when she came across a very old picture of herself present as a guest at actors Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor’s wedding.
Standing right in front of the happy couple, posing with a smile so wide it could be spotted from miles away, Raveena Tandon stands in attendance of Rishi and Neetu Kapoor’s wedding back in the 80s. She is also not alone in the picture, for she can be seen posing in a group picture along with many other known figures from the Bollywood industry.
Posting the picture on her Instagram handle, Raveena went ahead to call it no less than a “treasure”, that she had thought she had lost. One can also spot celebrities like Raveena Tandon’s father, Ravi Tandon, and actor Mac Mohan can also be seen posing with the newly weds.

Taking the liberty to share an interesting story from back in the day, Raveena wrote in the caption, “Found a gem . A tad too late though. Thank you Juhi Babbar for finding this pic. Chintu uncle kept asking me for this pic to put in his autobiography. And some how I had lost the original. Found it .so that’s me standing with Chintu uncle, at his wedding…Wish I’d gotten it a bit earlier . Nonetheless it is treasure for me #treasuredmemories…”
The photo dates as back as the 1980s which is when Rishi Kapoor married fellow actress Neetu Kapoor. After having dated for a while and working together in movies such as Rafoo Chakkar and Amar Akbar Anthony and many more, the two finally decided to tie the knot. However, the actor Rishi Kapoor, lost his life to leukemia in April of 2020.
