Star Wars’ famous romantic duo–Princess Leia and Han Solo’s wedding is squeezing into conversations, after almost three decades. With some hints around their marriage, dropped by the trilogy’s 2015 release–The Force Awakens, audiences learnt that the couple did get married, but it soon ended due to their son, who well, betrayed them. And now with the release of author Beth Revis’ Star Wars: The Princess and the Scoundrel, the wedding is all that we can think about.

The premise of this novel will take its readers through Leia and Han’s wedding on the forest moon of Endor, followed by a honeymoon on the Halcyon. For fashion critiques, the book also gives a full-length description of Princess Leia’s bridal look and is ready to answer all your questions. According to Variety, the dress designed by artist Tara Phillips loans its colour inspiration from the Endor planet, the spot where the wedding takes place. The aqua green, long trailing gown features a delicate floral patch, residing at the back of the fabric. It replicates the flowers surrounding the temple. For the silhouette, the gown is loose-fitted and is attached to long, bell sleeves, that come sealed around the arm. The empire line dress also incorporates a delicate gold border around the neckline and right beneath the bust. The waist is adorned with a dainty tie-up detail and a thigh-high slit allows enough room for her furry boots.

Giving her iconic braided space buns some rest, she decorates the ensemble with wildflowers, stuck to her braided crown. The flowers in her hair, replicate the ones in the bouquet that she poses with. The bouquet here, delivers a message for Han who suspects that Leia picked the flowers before she climbed the ladder to the temple. A section of the book, describes the dreamy wedding and the couple’s attires for us. A version of the princess’ look is also seen on the cover of the book, which fuels the suspense.

Well, after her iconic gold bikini outfit, we think her style legacy is now complete.
