Surprising us with her bold and vivacious sartorial choices, the actress has been on promotional duties for her upcoming film The Matrix Resurrections, and her fashion game is well-suited as always. Be it animal prints, bodysuits or glitter, desi girl is keeping up with her mixed roster of ensembles and the pictures are too bomb to handle (I mean ek hi dil hai kitni baar jeetoge PC?)

The Green Dream
Styled by celebrity image architect Law Roach who is known for creating some magical looks sported by Zendaya, Priyanka Chopra stunned her fans in a green ensemble yesterday. Opting for the colour king designer Prabal Gurung and Petar Petrov Lou, the Matrix star teamed a printed ruffle skirt from the former’s spring 2022 collection with the latter’s metallic green shirt. What made the look stand out was the playful camaraderie of the two distinct fabric choices made by the stylist with a basic pair of gold hoops adding to the glitter (it is such a unique combo).

Power Dressing
Priyanka Chopra has always nodded to the idea of power dressing, whether it’s the suits, crisp blazers or luxe formals, the queen has tried, tested and slayed ‘em all. Opting for a striking red suit from designer Sergio Hudson’s Spring 2022 collection, the actress paired the bell-bottom pants with a long blazer stitched together with a belt. The ensemble was simple, with accessories not going too overboard and a pair of Jimmy Choo heels that chose to hide behind the panels of the pant.

Animal print Vibe
Making a statement in animal print, the actress invited the trend in two looks out of the lot. The first one featured a snakeskin print dress teamed with a long blazer in the same design from designer Roberto Cavalli who does some great work with animal-inspired motifs and silhouettes, (I mean do you remember Zendaya’s spine chilling black gown for Spiderman promotions) the actress completed the ensemble with metal leaf earrings and hair, curled up. While look two had a cameo by the print in the form of a big neck scarf tied up in a statement bow, layered over a black Dolce And Gabbana blazer dress.

Formals With A Twist
Giving a unique twist to the bodysuit, Priyanka Chopra’s choice of sheer Dolce and Gabbana number is too hawt to handle. The lacy black catsuit paired with a long black blazer with edgy padded shoulders called for major attention. The daring look, teamed with a semi-ponytail and diamond jewels quite set the tone of the new skin reveal bodice, that seems a promising trend for the upcoming year. Plus the colour pop eye shadow is what we need to try this party month.

Big Hair Aesthetic
One amongst my least favourite looks donned by the actress, the Proenza Schouler brushstroke blue bodycon dress was lowkey unflattering and not quite Priyanka’s aesthetic. Though the heavy on print full-sleeved silhouette made it to many headlines, what I liked about the look was the big hair aesthetic fuelled by the long braid. Quite a Kim-Kylie way of dressing up your hair, the XXL braid saves the vibe of the ensemble and is a sign of the new hair trend (something our dearest Beyoncé has been screaming ever since).
