5 Times Zendaya Was An Absolute Stunner On The Red Carpet. Go Big Or Go Home, Right Z?

5 Times Zendaya Was An Absolute Stunner On The Red Carpet. Go Big Or Go Home, Right Z?

Zendaya’s sartorial choices in fashion are not unknown. Whether it’s a big premiere night or making it to the Met Gala, the Spider-Man: No Way Home and Dune star always dresses the part. Keeping intact a wide spectrum of silhouettes, colours and cuts, the teenage Disney star-turned-actor and style icon’s red carpet wardrobe is daring and divine. Flipping through the many times the American actor has left us awestruck, here are some of my favourite looks from Zendaya (which were quite difficult to choose, NGL!)

Have a look!

The Spine-Chilling Look

Wearing the absolutely stunning black attire at the 2021 Ballon d’Or France Football award ceremony in Paris. The dress that from the front appears to be a classic black silhouette soon bursts the surprise of a golden spine detail as the actress turns to flaunt her back. Taking a close reference from Marvel’s Doc Ock’s suit, the tailor-made Roberto Cavalli number is one-of-a-kind. Completing the sleek and neat ensemble with golden hoops, the actress tied her hair in a semi-bob, and I am here in my messy bun drooling and trying hard to get over this entire look.

At The Dune Premier

One of my most favourite looks pulled off by Zendaya is the nude Balmain leather gown, she sported at the red carpet premiere of Dune. Slaying the seamless stitch, with ruched detailed waist, the actress completed the look with wet middle-parted soft curls, and a 93-carat Colombian emerald, by Bulgari, bringing in the colour to the nude palette. Take a bow, you beautiful creature Zendaya! You’ve been showing up not just in Paul Atreides’ but in my dreams too, wearing this gown!

Being The Yellow Muse

The colour yellow has been an all-time celebrity favourite when it comes to walking the red carpet. And Zendaya too was quite a class act at the Oscars 2021, donning the shade in a custom-made Valentino. The strapless yellow cut-out, breezy gown found the perfect match in the Bulgari jewels and her long natural curls. What a ray of sunshine you are Miss Coleman.

The Pink Surprise

Playing around with well-outlined silhouettes, Zendaya attended the 2020 Critic’s Choice Award looking like a vision in pink. Flaunting her long locks in a semi-afro, the actress wore a Tom Ford pink padded chest piece with a maxi skirt in the same shade. A beautiful marriage of two extreme texture groups, the sculpted chest piece for me is the star and I loved the return of a good fuchsia pink to the red carpet after ages.

The Met Gala Look

Offering celebrities a platform to go all out in terms of style and fashion, Zendaya who never shies away from twirling around in the most remarkable looks graced the 2017 Met Gala wearing Dolce & Gabbana. Blooming in the multi-coloured piece, the Alta Moda ball gown did not subscribe to the year’s theme but was definitely a show stopper. Going big with a full-blown afro, the look managed to grab eyeballs at the annual fashion parade.
