From Rihanna To Justin Bieber, These Star Styles Will Convince You To Wear Pink More Than Just On Wednesdays

From Rihanna To Justin Bieber, These Star Styles Will Convince You To Wear Pink More Than Just On Wednesdays

When Maison Valentino painted the runway pink in its very own Pantone shade Pink PP at Paris Fashion Week this year, I knew Very Peri was getting a tough competition right there. And voila, a few weeks later we literally spotted the shade taking over red carpets and street style alike. In a time when the lines between occasion and casual wear have gone blur, the joy of dressing up in high-spirited shades has been a wardrobe celebration in itself. A shade that often came with a gender label on it, citrus pink in all its glory has found a place in both footwear collection and makeup kits. And not to forget its loudest cheerleaders, I mean celebrities, everyone from Zendaya to Justin Bieber and even our new viscountess Kate Sharma AKA Simone Ashley has been keeping up with the punchy pink.

Fresher than ever, the colour has become more than just a sartorial staple, but a symbol of joy and positivity. A shade that is often associated with its calming nature, something the world is willing to sip on amidst the trying times, the return of pink has brought with it the joy of dressing up and venturing out. Not just celebs, but fashion giants from Maison Valentino, Jacquemus to Balmain have been falling in love with Barbie’s dearest shade–pink. And as we enter the hottest season of the year, the hottest colour indeed can not go without mentioning. Hence, just like your dearest BFF, we have become in charge of your wardrobe collectables and have listed down the many ways you can opt for the shade this season in multiple interesting ways.

Outfit Check

Experimenting with a million new silhouettes, the colour pink could be the next shade you add to your cart soon. With Zendaya’s approval sticking right on it, experiment with power suits, bralettes, mini dresses, or even the Govinda style coloured pants. A great shade for times you wanna make a strong, impressive statement, you can opt for the colour to pair with anything from a leather skirt to a basic blue denim.

Going beyond the centre stage performances and elite wear club, the opera gloves are now serving as the Internet’s favourite child. It is literally the best and freshest piece of accessory you can add to your closet. Also, I know that the heat would be a thorn in the process of styling them, but fashun sure comes with some pain, toh seh lo plis. Just like your favourite stylish celebrities from Kim Kardashian, SJP, Olivia Rodrigo and Saweetie, we’re gearing up for a glove party in our wardrobes, with a special invitation for you to join.

Colour Block

While you may think, the zamana of the colour block has departed for the best, I must mention it’s hitting the trend charts again. Something even hot mumma Rihanna has been rooting for, indulging in colour play with the season’s hottest hue is a style tool you can incorporate. Brighten it up with an equally vibrant shade or tone it down a bit with a splash of pastel hues, use elements of accessories and shoes to help you achieve a winning look.

Beach Please!

With the arrival of summer, the return of your beachwear is a must. Spice up your swimwear with the brightest of pink this season. Try out string bikinis, breezy pink sarongs, or quirky bandeaus with chunky shell jewellery or the Y2K essential beads. Take style cues from our fav. Dua Lipa in that department.

Casual Style Saviour

Accessories are a saviour in times of off-duty, with a piece that can easily elevate your style. From statement-making earrings, and micro-bags to Justin Bieber’s Grammy appropriate beanie (oh I loved it), a pinch of pink is all you need to spruce up your mundane monotone outfits. A great styling hack one must try, you can choose from a range of accessory options, right from micro bags, box clutches, and show-stopper lockets.

Colour pop Feet

In times today, when celebrities have been pretty conscious about their footwear choices too, pop coloured heels have become a style saviour in many star wardrobes. Asking for your immediate attention, everything from block heels to pretty bow laden straps, colourful heels work well with baggy denim and micro skirts alike. And just like Ananya Panday, Blackpink’s Jennie Ruby Jane and Queen Z, you can opt for a bright pink pair to suit your style.

Candy Eyes And Coloured Lips

Being the obsessive follower of Euphoria‘s beautiful makeup routine, my eye shadow palette is making enough room for candy pink to reign. Then be it Kat’s heart print stroke on the eyes, Lexi’s pop pink lip colour, or even a basic graphic eyeliner, let your face serve as thy canvas and experiment with funky designs with pink being your colour hero. Giving a break to dewy, natural makeup, Euphoria high is the theme of the year, and I say we must follow.
