Neha Dhupia Walks For INIFD Launchpad At Lakmé Fashion Week X FDCI, Talks About Mom Fashion

Lakmé Fashion Week X FDCI kickstarted on Thursday, March 9 in Mumbai. The grand event started with Gennext 2023 winners KoAi, Hiro, KoyToy and Rudraksh Dwivedi presenting their collections at INIFD Launchpad Show at Lakmé Fashion Week X FDCI and actress Neha Dhupia turned showstopper for the showcase. Post the show, the actress sat down for a media interaction. During her chat with the media, the actress opened up about her daughter being a fashionista in the making, and how motherhood changed her fashion sense. She also recalled the time when she started modelling and had a special message for all the upcoming newbie designers.

Neha Dhupia turned showstopper for INIFD Launchpad at Lakmé Fashion Week x FDCI. She was dressed in a flowy, tiered white maxi dress with statement sleeves. A printed waist belt was added to her look to amp it up. Her East meets West look was paired with a heavily layered neckpiece.

Speaking to the media after walking the ramp for INIFD Launchpad at Lakmé Fashion Week x FDCI, Neha Dhupia said that her fashion sense has changed after becoming a mother while adding that now all she can think about is hemlines, necklines, sneakers and heels. She went on to add that when now when she dressed up in her 4/5 inch heels and picks up both her kids and steps out of the house, her instant thought is that she could either wear sneakers and go out and enjoy her day or she can wear heels and sit at home. According to Neha Dhupia’s fashion forecast, ballroom gowns and sneakers are the new fad!

Neha Dhupia spoke about her modelling days and said that things were much different when she started modelling but she still met several of her old friends from Delhi backstage while dressing up. Speaking about her outfit, the actress said that she loves that everyone and everything is so fluid on the ramp these days and a large part of it is because these days people believe in what they’re wearing while adding that she loves what she is wearing. Putting a hand on the waist belt she was wearing, Neha said that the belt is a symbol of art, hard work and creativity so she will return the belt but keep the rest of the outfit.

Sharing a message for the upcoming designers, Neha Dhupia urged newbie designers to channel their own creativity into the outfits and make them their own instead of doing it because someone else is doing it. She concluded by saying that Fashion may come and go by style is what stays. And we totally agree!
