We Ranked Our Favourite Beauty Looks From Met Gala 2022 With A Hope To Recreate Them Soon
It’s true what they say, your hair and makeup has the power to break or make your look. While the world is staring at the Met Gala’s stylish list of invitees, with multiple rounds of zooming in and out, beauty and hair experiments were no less invisible. From coloured eyes, and painted lips to show-stopping hairdos, celebrities worked their magic to suit their sartorial style. And being obsessed with almost each one of them, we have decided to rank our favourite beauty looks from this year’s Met Gala for you. Maybe you too could take some inspo, right?
1. Kaia Gerber
Voluminous hair remained dear to Met Gala this year, I mean didn’t y’all see everyone from Phoebe Dynevor to Sophie Turner, sporting voluminous crimp hair? And one amongst that long list was Kaia Gerber. Oozing youthful charm, marinated with old-school Hollywood glamour, Kaia’s winning beauty look had us all jealous of her hair and skin. Plus the headlining hairpins were the cherry on the top.

2. Isabelle Boemeke
Sticking to the theme, Isabelle’s attempt to display her version of Gilded Glamour was bang on. Arranging the many elements like–graphic eyeliner, funky face piercings, and face jewels, Isabelle’s mani-rings accentuated the overall look and won a place in the list of our favourite beauty looks.

Take a bow Gigi for channelling the classic red lip look and perhaps nailing it too. A vision in an all-red Versace, Gigi opted for glossy lips to match the sheen latex in her ensemble. So chic!

Vanessa Hudgens made sure to decorate her statement hair bun with dazzling beaded chains that twisted and turned to suit her bun. One of our favourite hair styles from the evening.

An edgy eyeliner that Euphoria‘s Maddy would highly appreciate, Megan’s cut-crease metallic cat eyes and dark lined lips made a mark at the big event.

6. Sophie Turner
The ever-glowing momma-to-be Sophie’s eyes spoke to us in many ways. Sporting a rustic-brown and red eye shadow, a thin layer of kajal alongside, red lips, Sophie looked nothing short of a goddess.

7. Alicia Keys
Another member to join the hair jewellery club was Alicia Keys who walked the red carpet, wearing embellished monochrome disks that came together to form a braided spiral. Ma’am Keys also sprinkled some chic gloss on her hair with intricate baby hair curls gracing her forehead and an embellished eyeliner.

Matching the glitter on her pale beige attire, Jodie’s dewy skin had a special glow. Experimenting with face embellishments, but in control, Jodie added three crystal face stickers to her face, in order to outline the arch of her well-defined eyebrows. Radiant Jodie!

Met Gala is incomplete with at least one guest experimenting with their lashes. And this time it’s Lucy taking the throne of the evening’s most funky yet cool lashes. While many found newer spots on their face to style crystal stickers, Lucy tried her hands on be-jewelled lashes and I’d say she succeeded.

I have been loving the whole idea of men and manicures, which is why main man Mendes’ Met Gala nails deserve a mention. Channelling his choice of designer label–Tommy Hilfiger for the special evening, Shawn’s nails too displayed the designer’s iconic logo design and colour palette to seal his look.
