Changing pregnancy sartorial style, one outfit at a time, the “Diamonds” singer has never shied from putting her belly on display. Calling for attention during every outing, Rihanna’s preggers style has been a mix of lingerie, tulle dress from Dior, the Gucci ensemble and my favourite distressed set from The Attico. This also makes us question, is this the new era of maternity fashion? I think yes.

Rooting for Riri’s choice of maternity wear which actually isn’t one, the category which once mirrored summer tulle dresses and printed oversized silhouettes has changed, once and for all. And I think Riri’s pregnancy closet is what our very own Maddy from Euphoria has planned for herself too. Do y’ll remember when Ms Perez, the style icon of HBO’s hit series said, “I feel like I would look so sexy pregnant. I wouldn’t wear any of those ugly maternity clothes. Dressed up in a satin silver crop top and a glitter column skirt, Rihanna decorated her baby bump with a dazzling silver belly chain and matching jewels. Replacing floral, oversized maternity wear with mini-skirts and extreme cut-outs, Rihanna has set the bar quite high.
